Hi experts,
I am a retaker and had scored 650 (Q 47 V31) in 2012. I plan to retake one more time in 6 weeks and need some guidance regarding the available gmat club resources that I should make use of and a robust study plan that helps in tracking weekly improvements. I have been studying for past 3 weeks and have finished 80% of SC and revised most of my Maths notes.
I took GMATPrep1 last week and scored a 640 (Q 48 and V 28). I found that I was rusty in my test taking abilities but I believe I can reach a 680 level in next 15 days. Here is my breakdown for Verbal GmatPrep1 exam taken last week :
SC - 4 incorrect out of 17 (I gained accuracy here since I focused on it lately. Will continue to revise it)
CR - 7 incorrect outof 11 (I found that reading and comprehending long CR Q takes a lot of time for me)
RC - 6 incorrect out of 13 (Timing is an issue)
My plan for CR
1) Revise my CR Notes and Shoumik's CR bible notes. Go through Thursday with Ron videos for some specific CR techniques.
2) Once i have internalised the process for each CR Q type then start to attempt OG and VReview questions.
Question to GC experts -
1) What actions would you reccommend for going from 47 to 50 in Quant ?
2) Are there any more resources that you would reccommend to improve CR and RC accuracy for someone who has has a limited time. Perhaps a short weekly plan to improve from early 30s to close to 40 on Verbal.
3) What is the best way to practice official Verbal Questions now and still save some for the last GMATPrep mock. I mean some of the Verbal Q lists avaiable on gmat club contain Q from GMATPrep as well and I want to save them for the last.
Thanks!!
