I scored 650 in my GMAT Prep Test 1 and I was quite happy that with a mediocre degree of preparation I could score that much but I just took the
Manhattan GMAT and I was highly disappointed as I scored 590 but I will admit that I was tired and it was evening time and I was not able to focus.
I think my issue has been that I just feel lost out and becomes difficult to focus when I take a test. The 3 hours seem to be never ending and I do not have the energy and the stamina to sustain and to concentrate? Has it happened to anyone else here or its just me who has lost the knack of "how to study" after starting full time career.
Bottomline of what I have realized is that however much you study and apply tricks and shortcuts to arrive at the solution, it largely depends on your logical ability and I would like to know how to improve that which will eventually lead to increase in scores. Seeing such scores, I am thinking again whether I should go for MBA or not. I have a decent job and frankly speaking If I cant even sustain the GMAT exam, how will I sustain 2 years of meticulous hard work that an MBA grad has to go through.
Also, there are so many methods of preparation that I am completely confused about what to do and how to go about it. Methods of preparation suggested seem all good but which one to follow exactly is something I have yet to decipher and I have only 2 months in my hand now if I want to apply for Fall 2015.
Any advice would be appreciated
