Hi,

I have gone through verbal concept but still I am not getting accuracy in Sentence correct and in CR questions due to understanding of meaning of passage.
I am yet to solve all Official guide questions;I have solved many and few are left but I want to practice SC questions please share good source so I can practice more and improve. I am making my study plan for next one month.
In my study plan I have marked 6 days ( 2 days SC, 2 Days for CR and 2 days for RC ) for practice 1 day for test and analysis. is it good plan?

Hey rohraIIM,

The SC section is the easiest verbal section to make improvements on. Once you understand how to think and approach this question type, there are only so many ways you can be tested. Here at GMAT Pill we developed the 10 core frameworks which detail the 10 ways to approach GMAT sentence corrections.

Here is a sample video detailing one of the core frameworks: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... stion/2184

For CR, we recommend a visual framework approach to help you understand the complex short passages and how each item relates to each other.

Here is a video describing the visual framework approach: https://www.gmatpill.com/criticalreasoni ... Estate.mp4

In terms of your study plan, we recommend that you focus on one particular subsection for multiple consecutive days before moving onto the next. You can see this in our study plan where we recommend 5 days on nothing but SC -- before moving onto CR and then RC.

Here is a customized one month study plan that can help boost your score: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... study-plan

Best of luck - and we are here to help.

Hi rohraIIM,

Your post didn't provide much information about your studies so far. I'll be happy to offer some advice, but I'll need a bit more information first:

1) How long have you been studying?
2) What resources have you been using?
3) How have you been scoring on your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning on taking the GMAT?

Hi rohraIIM,

With a September 30th Test Date, you have about 6 weeks of study time remaining. Do you have the flexibility to push back your Test Date? With your score goal, you would have to raise your GMAT score 200+ points in 6 weeks, which is a difficult task (not impossible, but very hard to do). You might also need to invest in some additional practice resources.

When did you take this CAT?
Did you take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?

Hi rohraIIM,

The Round 1 application deadline for ISB is less than 2 months away. Given that short timeframe, I do not think that it's practical to think that you can get everything done in that time. Thus, you really should think about pushing back your Test Date (and applying for Round 2). I understand that you probably don't *want* to change your timeline around, but if you don't have a competitive GMAT score, then the Round 1 deadline won't matter.
