Hey Rich, thanks a lot for your response.
You're right, I have been studying for a while, but it really wasn't structured at all. I started in Jan using
Magoosh, but around March, I was shifting, and my brother was moving to Auckland so I went on vacation for a bit. Ended up taking like 3 months off and almost forgetting everything I'd done. I restarted a couple of weeks ago, worked through the Manhattan Strategy Guides (6th edition) and finished the problems they gave and the Moderate OG sets that comes as a Mid-Term and a Final Quiz. Once this was done, I started working through the OG 2015, starting from the Diagnostic Test, where I scored consistently "Above Average" or close to "Excellent" in each section. I've been working through the OG and the above
error log ever since. I thought once I'm done with the OG, I'd move to the Quant and Verbal Review and then use the GMAT Prep Software. I've taken one test before I started a Jan, was an old paper test at a coaching centre I was looking at and scored 510. It was a completely cold test, I hadn't touched a Math book in 3-4 years when I took that.
Anyway, sorry for the long post, I've answered your questions below!
1) How long have you studied? - Consistently for about 2-3 weeks now
2) What materials have you used? -
Magoosh for practice (not much though, thought I'd stick to Official Sources for now), Manhattan Strategy Guides to get strong in fundamentals and OG for practice
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)? - 510, wasn't a CAT. Planning on taking a Manhattan CAT on the 1st when I'm a little more confident
4) Have you taken the Official GMAT (and if you did, then how did you score?)? - Nope
5) What is your goal score? - Anything below 700 would be a retake, anything above, a bonus. Obviously hoping I get over 730 or so
6) When are you planning to take the GMAT? - August 6th
7) When are you planning to apply to Business School? - If I do well in August, R1 this year, already met with my recommenders and started a bit of work on my essays. Am putting it on hold until the GMAT though.
The reason I was looking for a similar file for the quant and verbal review is so that I can keep track of my answers and errors the way I am for the OG.
Thanks again, sorry for the long post!
