First the bad news, then the good news.
THE BAD NEWS: GMAC has just announced that the 2017 edition of the Official Guide has over 50 typos and errors scattered throughout. Refunds or replacements will be issued by GMAC once a revised edition is finished, but in the meantime, it would be wise to purchase the 2016 OG instead.
THE GOOD NEWS: Because of the high number of mistakes in Chapter 4 (Math Review) of the Official Guide, the GMAC has decided to simply release a corrected PDF version of that chapter. Even GMAT students who did not buy the 2017 OG could benefit from downloading this helpful quant-related information. The chapter is 41 pages long and includes a review of Arithmetic, Algebra, and Word Problems.
