We are given freshmen/sophomores = 2/3 and sophomores/juniors = 5/6.
if we multiply the two, freshmen/sophomores * sophomores/juniors = freshmen/juniors = 2/3 * 5/6 = 5/9

Now we have freshmen/juniors = 5/9 and juniors/seniors = 3/5
We can multiply the two ... freshmen/juniors * juniors/seniors = freshmen/seniors = 5/9 * 3/5 = 1/3.

Hence answer is A.
