Hopefully, we'll look at the picture and immediately think 'ooh if the lines are parallel then x +y = 180'!
With this in mind, we'll see if our stmts give us this information, a Logical approach.
(1) does not give us any information on x, insufficient.
(2) then x+y= 180 so 2(x+y) = 360. Sufficient.
(B) is our answer.
