Riders on a Ferris wheel travel in a circle in a vertical plane. A particular wheel has radius 20 feet and revolves at the constant rate of one revolution per minute. How many seconds does it take a rider to travel from the bottom of the wheel to a point 10 vertical feet above the bottom?

draw figure we can conclude that triangle 30-60-90
so angle formed at center to 10 feet = 60*
i.e 60/360 = 1/6 th of complete revolution
i.e 60 * 1/6= 10 seconds

Why is it not not 7.5? The angle formed at 10feet is 45deg and that's 1/8 of of a revolution. My answer was C. Can't visualise the 30-60-90 triangle
