Let radius of circle = r
Side of outer square = r*√2
Side of inner square = 2r/√5

Dimensions of shaded region are
CD = 2r/√5
Other side = half of side of outer square = (r*√2)/2 = r/√2
Area of shaded region = (√2/√5)*r^2
Ratio = (√2/√5)/PI
