If n is an integer such that 107 < n < 117, what is the value of n?

(1) If n-1 were divided by 2, the remainder would be 0.

(2) If n were divided by 3, the remainder would be 0.

Statement 1 tells us n is odd, and Statement 2 tells us n is divisible by 3. Neither is sufficient alone since there are a few odd numbers and a few multiples of 3 in the range given, but using both Statements, 111 is the only possible value of n (111 is divisible by 3 because its digits sum to 3, and the nearby multiples of 3, using the fact that multiples of 3 are three apart, are ...105, 108, 111, 114, 117, 120...), so the answer is C.
