BT =CT

Thus , angle B = angle C

70 + 70 + ANGLE y = 180

y = 40.

- Triangle BCT is isosceles(given BT = CT), and angle BCT = 180 - e => 180-110 = 70.
- angle BCT = angle CBT = 70
- y = 180-70-70 = 40

• BT = CT
• e = 110
To find
• Value of y
Approach and Working out
In triangle BCT, angle BCT = 180-e = 180-110= 70
• BT = CT. Hence, angle BCT = Angle CBT = 70
• 70 + 70 +y =180
o y= 40
Thus, option B is the correct answer.
