Solution:
Let c and f be the percentage of boys who like only cricket and only football, respectively.
- • Percentage of boys who like cricket = 70
- o c + x = 70
- o f + x = 50
- c+f+2x = 120…(i)
• x will be minimum when every student will like at least one of the sports
- o c + f + x = 100…(ii)
- o x = 20
- o Therefore, x ≥ 20
- • Now, we will see the maximum value of x
- o x will be maximum when all the student who plays football also plays criket
- 50≥ c
