9/37

A. Greater than 16 ft/sec = (30 mins * 60 secs * 16 ft = 28800 ft) to infinite Insuff
( since 5280 * 6 = 316800 is in between28800 and infinite )
B Less than 18 ft/sec = between 0 and (30 * 60 * 18 = 32400) Insuff

A & B put together tells us that he cycled between 28800 and 32400 ft which doesnt tell us if it is less than or greater than 6 miles

so E

11/37

break it down to the prime factors

990 = 10 * 99 = 2* 5 * 11 * 9

so the n should be atleast 11

18/37

plug in some values say x= 3, 1-3 = -2 and solve for both 3 and -2 in each of those functions. I cant think of any easy way as I am not good either.

At what speed would he need to go to travel exactly 6 miles in 30 minutes?

6*5280 feet in 30*60 seconds= 5280/300 ft/sec, which is between 17 and 18 feet per second
