Take a case when we do not know the value of x
x = sqrt (4) => x = +-2 , x could be positive or negative

If we know x > 0, and x = sqrt (4) => x = +2 in this case we ignore the negative value

Here in this question x < 0.
I am deliberately choosing x = -a to enforce the value of x to be negative. which can be done only when a is my absolute positive value, which can not negative.

Like x = -16 if we write x = -a, then a can not be negative, it has to be +16
So in my argument a > 0

Infact the argument is asking the value of an expression.. not the value of x or a, for that matter..

something wrong about the question.. !!
