Sum of exterior angle is always 360 irrespective of number of sides. So answer should be C


EDIT- there is one silly mistake in above solution, concept is right but answer will be 320 as sum asked is of a+b+c+d and not a+b+c+d+40.

180-a+140+180-d+180-c+180-b=540 , so ans should be 320(B)

sum of interior angles of a polygon = (n-2)*180=(5-2)*180=3*180=540
Total exterior angle = 5*180-540=900-540=360
a+b+c+d+40 = 360. hence a+b+c+d=320 (B)
