The area of ABD is 200 since it is half the rectangle. Compare EBD to ABD. The heights are the same and the base of EBD is 40% the base of ABD. That means the area of EBD is 40% the area of ABD. Area of EBD is 40% of 200, which is 80.
The area of BCD is 200 since it is half the rectangle. Compare BGD to BCD (imagine BC and BG as the bases and CD as the height). The heights are the same and the base of BGD is 25% the base of BCD. That means the area of BGD is 25% the area of BCD. Area of BGD is 25% of 200, which is 50.
Area EBD+BGD = 80+50 = 130.
Answer choice B.
