I got only 2 scored questions wrong, however I got a Q49. Anyone else have this experience/does anyone know of cases where the GMAC increased a candidates score post the exam?

It's surprising to know. I am not sure whether GMAC has increased a candidate's score post the exam. I hope some GC experts would help you with this.

Hi There and congrats on the Score!
We have seen a few interesting situations and scoring challenges. However, not anything as interesting as this.
We have seen people miss 4 and get similar Q48-49 result. While there was no confirmation of this, my theory is that the score and the number of questions right/wrong is a reflection of the question bank. If your question bank has mostly medium and easy questions, the number of mistakes drastically goes down. However, this seems to be a pretty extreme scenario. Did you feel the questions were on the easier side?
As to your question, I only know 1 instance of a score being changed (not the overall score but a sectional score - the sectional and total scores are calculated separately and using separate algorithms). The person did get their sectional score bumped to V51 (no mistakes) after initially getting V50 https://gmatclub.com/forum/q51-v50-253258.html
