In \(\triangle ABD\)
BD = 3 units
Therefore AD = 3 units as \(\angle BAD = \angle ABD\)
In \(\triangle AEC\)
EC = 4 units
Therefore AE = 3 units as \(\angle EAC = \angle ACE\)
In \(\triangle ADE\)
\(\angle DAE = 90^{\circ} \)
Therefore DE = 5 units (Pythagoras triplet)
Perimeter = 3+4+5 = 12 units
Option D
