Congratulations! Awesome work and sorry it is not quite what you were hoping for.

You are pretty close. You need 1 Q and 3-5 V to make a 750+ score so very close. It doesn’t mean it’s very easy. GMAT Club Tests can easily take you to Q 50 or Q 51 even, though it’s not worth chasing Q51 score.

I don’t recommend waiting for the focus edition because it means you’ll wait for potentially four or five months. My suggestion would be to slay the beast now and maybe within a month rather than a long time when you will lose some of your skills.

Are you applying to business schools? Masters? How is your work experience? Do you feel you’ve been performing better than your peers? And recognized for it?

Hi bb
Thank you for your response.
I just checked my ESR, and I must say, I made some pretty stupid mistakes. For Verbal, my incorrect answers were 1-4-1-1 across 4 blocks of questions. The first question that I got incorrect was an easy one (stupid me!). I guess with some more dedication and practice, I can cross the barrier of V40.
For Quant, I got 1-1-0-4 incorrect answers. I need to pay some attention to the time. I lost track of my time and had just 20 minutes for the last 15 questions. I need to focus on maintaining uniformity in time.

As suggested, I will take GMAT in another couple of weeks. I would really appreciate some suggestions regarding change in strategy (I have already solved all the OG 2022 questions - OG, Verbal/Quant Review, and Advanced).

I am planning to apply to B-schools. My Target is, as my username suggests, Kellogg. But I am going to apply to all M7 schools.

I have an experience of around 6 years - Data & Analytics. In my previous job, where I stayed for 4+ years, I started right out of undergrad school. Initially working as a Senior Analyst. However, with just under 1 year of experience, I was leading a team of 3 members. Afterwards, I started working on another project, where I led a team of 12 members. However, when I switched the job, I took up a role as an individual contributor (because I wanted to be closer to my partner, and I took up the job I got). In my previous job, I developed a really great relationship with the client, so much so that the client offered to directly hire me in a Global Tech Lead role. But for the obvious reasons, I had to turn it down :/
All in all, I have had a reverse career trajectory so far - started off as a Lead, but currently an individual contributor.

2. Should I work on changing the strategy and retake the GNMAT traditional exam in a month or two, or shall I wait for the Focus edition? Context: I consider my SC to be competitive. In the first attempt, I had 88 percentile in SC, hoping that it would be somewhat similar this time too.

Regarding your second question, honestly, since you have already been studying for the current version of the GMAT, I would stick with that exam.
