Try putting values..

If you put -2 , the equation is incorrect..........so decreasing the value.

At X> 0 the equation is satisfied.

So, 0<X

Now, till 4 the equation is satisfied......the moment the value becomes 4 or greater...the equation is incorrect.

So X<4

Combining,

0<x<4

-2+x<2
x>4
So for case 1, 2<x<4

Case2:
2-x>0, x<2
2-x<2
x>0
So for case 2, 0<x<2

Together, 0<x<4

and for 2-x>0 to be correct x must be x<2
