Set up equations and if ur still not sure there, then try using real values.
1) s is to right of 0. S could be 5 and R could be -5 or R could be -2. Insuff.
2) This essentially says that t-r=t-(-s) ---> s=-r.
However, we don't know the signs of s and r. r could be negative or positive. Additionally we don't know the relation to zero. S and R could very well be 0, thus 0 would not halfway between the values.
say s=8 then r must be -8. This tells us that 0 is the midpoint, but again we don't know if r and s are 0.
Im sure there is a better way to negate this choice, but I haven't found it yet.
Together we know that S is positive so we know that r is negative to make s=-r true. We also know that r and s are not 0. Thus this is suff.
