It's more a visual approach and an estimating of dimensions of triangles that should be used here
To me, the answer is (1*1)/2 = 1/2, given by a right triangle at the center of the circle. Smaller or huger angles than 90° at the center provide a smaller Area than the one with 90°.

C, D, E are easily eliminated, used area of triangle formula.
between A and B, i found no reason to eliminate A, just because sqrt(3)/4 is less than 1/2 i chose B..
does anyone has better or more secure reason to eliminate A...?
