Sterny,

Congrats on an excellent score! Where can one find the SC GMATPrep document that you mention?

Re: 750 Q49, V44 [#permalink]
what material are you reffering to????

"The best source for SC in the last 2 weeks of prep is the GMatPrep document on this website that covers ALL of the problems posted in GmatPrep". Once you go through that you will realize that for the most difficult questions, simple parallelism, pronoun rules don't suffice. Learning about these problems is the single most important thing you can do for SC prep.

What were your sources for practicing CR and RC's????

Thanks

There was a thread on this website of this guy who had created a list of 200 SC qns from the Gmatprep. I am on my office computer, so when I get back to my home laptop, I will try to post it. In the meantime, you can try searching on the Verbal forum to find the thread.

The document is nothing special, except just a dump of all the SCs that are in the gmatprep. However, it is much better IMHO than the 1000SC documents. The 1000SC is essentially practicing quantity rather than quality, which are few and far in between. These 200 questions on the other hand all ALL top class. On my first attempt, I got about 1 in 10 wrong..about 20 overall in the document. I would research on all my mistakes and the second time I did the document, tha ratio was about 1 in 80!

Keep in mind though that the FIRST step should always be the Manhattan SC. Once you have the basics down you should go over this document to go over the more difficult questions.

Congratulations sterny. You have got an awesome score. Would you please mind telling what are the best sources for practice (in Quant) apart from challenges and MGMAT??
thanks

Sorry guys that it took me so long to post this..but HERE you go!!

I did get a couple of Ellipsis on the actual test..there is adocument (on their verbal resources page) that explains what an Ellipsis is. Highly recommended.

Note about the attached document, these will be of no use to you if you dont research EVERY mistake you make. Make sure you google the answer stem you have got wrong, the Manhattan forums and their instructors usually answer the question with great explanation, so make sure you understand those.

Hope it helps!

Thanks. This will be very useful for everyone. I just wonder whether someone has all the GMATPrep CR in one document, similar to these documents. Anyone found something?

Extremly useful document. I found GPrep SC's extremly boring and tedious (especially GPrep 2), they are much harder than OG SC's and are even slightly harder than the real GMAT sentences.

However, extracting questions from GP has one serious drawback: being the adaptive test, GP is packed with lightweight questions that are completly useless for a 700 aspirant. That issue has even greater significance when it comes to the CR...

But I guess that this document is created by someone already on the high level, somebody who has been consistedly scoring above 42 in GP verbal so we don't have to worry about difficulty level.

Nowhere. Unfortunately, GMATprep software does not provide any kind of explanation, just correct answer.

Google the answer stem..almost every question has been asked before somewhere and the Manhattan forums usually have good explanations.

P.S - All the questions you see in Bold, were the ones that I got wrong in my first try. As you can see I did get quite a few wrong, but after going through every wrong answer my improvement was significant and in Round 2, I only got about 4-5 wrong in the entire document! This was such a big confidence booster that I am positive that in the actual GMAT I could not have had more than 1 or 2 wrong in SC as I was able to knock them out fairly easily..

Just a quick question, will it be a good option to do this doc before the 2 GMATPREP CATS?
Since I would be seeing the same Q's when I do the CAT.

Thanks in advance
