12,600/12 =1050
when the first two digits or any digit in a number divided evenly we put zero in the quotient.is it true for all or some exception. i think i come across some numbers when divided evenly we don't put zero in between.
My question is y we put zero in quotient when any digit in the number is evenly divided by the denominator.

quotient till now we get is 10 right
now my question lies here is y we put zero in quotient.i think while dividing some numbers we don't put zero in quotient when digit in a number is evenly divided by denominator.

Right; that's not always true!!!
\(\frac{12600}{12}\).
When we take first 2 digits; i.e. 12 is evenly divided by 12. The remainder is 0. When remainder is 0, we then consider the immediate next digit i.e. 6. The new number becomes 06. 0612.
This is how we divide. But, that's not always true. Consider;
\(\frac{888}{8}\)
Here 8 is evenly divided by 8. We don't need to add 0 in the quotient.
Why; because 8!<8; 8=8.
This is the usual rule for simple division.
