kaplan free test score discrepancy

Question

I gave a Kaplan free test online today and scored 650 Q42V41.
I got only two questions wrong in quant section. How can the quant score be so low???
Also in the analysis it showed that the total number of questions is 31 instead of 37.
can anyone explain or give an idea about the quant score. I have my gmat next week.

My other test scores are as follows
Gmat prep1 680 (dont know the break up)

Mgmat2 680 Q47V36
Mgmat3 690 Q49V35
Mgmat4 670 Q45V35
Mgmat5 700 Q51V35
I did work a lot more on my verbal after the Mgmat tests.

HI Chaitanya,

If you got 2 wrong out of 31, it sounds like your must have run out of time on your Quant section (or had your internet connection flake out before you finished). Remember, the GMAT assesses a very steep penalty to students who don't complete a sections!

i did finish the whole section before time (10 miutes). I attempted all the questions but still in the analysis the total number of questions is 31.

I am attaching the review file as well. you can see that did get only 3 wrong out of 37 and not 31.

To make sure that there was no problem i did the test again entering the same answers, the result was same it did not register 37 questions but only 31.

Looking at the distribution, sir can you please give me an idea about my quant section score?? it can definitely not be 41.

Wow--that's bizarre!

Sounds like you've run into a techinical bug, which, unfortunately, I can't help you with. our customer support number, 1-800-KAP-TEST should be able to log into your website and take a closer look--give them a call. Feel free to PM me if they aren't able to straighten it out, and I'll see what other resources I can dig up, but I expect they will be able to resolve the situation.

YOu had better take the GMAT percentile score table and find the percentile for both of scores and then assign to it Q and V scores. 
Than see below a link to conversion table find your combination of Q and V raw scores and you will be able to identify your score. It will be more than 650.

The same happened to me in the free test i just took a while back on kaplan website. There is something definitely wrong. I googled to see if others had also faced the same issue and came across this post.

I could finish the quant section 25 minutes before with 3 errors but got score of 46!!! This should have been 50. Also questions were very easy.

Verbal score sounded reasonable, I got score of 39, after 10 errors, and could finish just in time.

Overall 670.

I GAVE KAPLAN FREE GMAT PRACTICE TEST. 
 SCORED 710

12 QUESTIONS WRONG IN QUANT  (although after first 15 correct) 68% correct overall.
 21 QUESTIONS WRONG IN VERBAL  49% correct overall.
