Hi, I have almost worked my way through the official guide, hitting probably 85-90% of the questions right first time across all sections. (both in early section and end of questions, would probably expect higher if I was to repeat earlier questions). I want 700, ideally 750. I do not know 85% if this is good, or if I need to do a lot more and be much closer to 100% in order to get top marks. Approx what % of questions should I be realistically aiming to get right to get a 700-750 mark?

One thing you have to keep in mind that OG is ranked from easy to hard, with the toughest hitting roughly the 700-740 range. The best way to know your score is to take a practice test from GMATPrep, software downloadable via mba.com. The program uses real algorithm to calculate your score and you'll know roughly what you're up for. If you're getting 85% right from OG, my crude guess would be that you're in the range of 650-750 (obviously...crude range...). Take a test and find out and you can then work your way from there.

Oh, and your question of "percentage to achieve to get 700-750". That's extremely hard to grasp, especially the fact that the test is CAT. So your score will ultimately be different if you miss 7 in a roll, or miss 7 throughout the test randomly. So I wouldn't worry too much about the percentage of questions you should get right -rather, just think that you need to get everything right.
