"Magnificently" serves the purpose of modifying the verb "raises" instead of modifying phrase in A "in a magnificent way".

Option C is concise and clear.

B and D can be eliminated at once. ( Changed the intended meaning)

E is in passive voice. (GMAT prefers Active over Passive)

Thus, my answer is C.
