(B) for the first one and (A) for the second one. "sales more/less tahn $$" is idiomatic

which modifies the noun directly before it, so it is incorrect in this case... A and E is out

they in C has no referrent

D is simply awkward just by reading it...

2)
Subscribers are countable.... so fewer should be used.... B and D out....

Sales are uncountabel... so fewer in E should not be used...

C uses awkward construction With the total sales lesser....

Countable nouns have both plural and singular forms.... therefore, money and sales are uncountable nouns....
