What are the School Colors and How to change them?

Question

Hi! One of the things we can do is name which schools we're applying to and insert colors to indicate application status. This usually appears under the avatar for each user.

I'm being able to display the school names but unfortunately, the green colors aren't displaying consistently. Sometimes school names appear green, others just normal black. Any idea what's happening? Am I using the wrong 'green'?

Make sure the code you use in the Schools field is the same as it would appear in the forum when editing your post. I suggest that people just use colors named "red", "green", "blue" as stated in the post below:

If you're sure the color code uses the same template as stated above and the colors aren't displayed consistently, we have a bug somewhere. Please check and let us know. The screenshots with your custom profile fields text or the pasted code from there would be very helpful.

Don't use any qoutes in the color names. I see this is the reason in your case. See the sample code:

[color=green]HBS[/color], [color=red]MIT[/color], [color=blue]Columbia[/color]

result:

HBS ,  MIT ,  Columbia

Can we get a standard? Seems like we're 90% of the way there but there's always some confusion.

Dinged  -"red"
 Waitlisted  -"orange" (I've seen this be yellow...as well as black?)
 Accepted  -"green"
 Matriculating  -"blue" ( Dark blue???  spelled "darkblue")
Unknown - nothing

Anything I'm missing? Anything wrong? Is there really a different blue for matriculating and withdrawn? It doesn't seem like most people follow that. I see a lot of normal blue for matriculating. (I am color blind, so be kind.)

I'm posting this because I don't see anyone use these colors anymore, as directed in the link above:
 Matriculate 
 Accepted 
Waitlist
 Ding

Not to mention having waitlist be the default is confusing.

i think blue (matriculating), green (accepted), orange (waitlist), red (ding) and black (nothing) are the accepted colors

I know we don't set our own school colors anymore, but I thought it might be nice to have a legend somewhere of the current color scheme as a few people on the boards have been confused 
(It's especially confusing when a status like "accepted from WL" is black, when one might normally think it would be green)

If anyone knows of a better place to post this, let me know. 
(or maybe the legend is out there somewhere and I just haven't found it)
