D B E/C D,C,A

(C) Withdrawals and deposits made in a bank account whose average balance remains about the same

(E) High grades and low grades made by a student whose average remains about the same from term to term

Really had a tough time choosing this.

long time averages of ozone levels in a particular area remain constant.

C does not mention the long time piece. We dont know for how many days. Average balance can be for a day, 2 days or 30 days right?

Even I felt E is perfect(becoz I tht i was asked to compare with the ozone levels of Strato with Ground Level)

But now I feel C is better
here is why IMO

author is asking us to comment on "given portion of the stratosphere "
and whats happening?

"The long-term averages of ozone both near ground level and in the stratosphere are regulated by continuous processes that are constantly destroying and creating (Withdrawals and deposits in a Bank ) it in each of these places. "

19. The processes that determine the amount of ozone in a given portion of the stratosphere most resemble which of the following?

(A) Automobile emissions and seasonal fog that create a layer of smog over a city
(B) Planting and harvesting activities that produce a crop whose size is always about the same
(C) Withdrawals and deposits made in a bank account whose average balance remains about the same
(D) Assets and liabilities that determine the net worth of a corporation
(E) High grades and low grades made by a student whose average remains about the same from term to term

OE for 19??

You nailed it. I missed the plus and minus part and focused on the long term average part. Too bad it did not occur to me

15 min 6/6...I could have done maybe 1 min faster but i'll take the 6/6 even if it took me longer.

19. tricky but i used the same analogy to constant
21. i sat on and then realized that 2 was wrong
22. tricky...A, D, and E I went with A bc of the wording in D and E
