This is a bar graph of the capital raised by each internet startup during their Initial Public Offering (IPO) launch. Ten of the premier internet and social media companies are listed with their respective capital raised as part of their IPO.
1. Adjusted for 2012 prices, the combined capital raised by companies that went public after the dot-com crash of 2001 (excluding Facebook) represented of the estimated amount Facebook would have raised if priced at $35 per share, according to the above chart.
2. of capital (in 2012 prices) was raised by the 5 listed technology names that went public in the 1980s and 1990s.
1)Ans C, Sum of capital generated by companies (2012 Price ) excluding Face book is 353+700+1000+2028=4081 Face Book Capital = 11,810. 4081/11810 = 4/12 = approx. 33 %
2) Ans B Capital raised by the 5 listed technology names that went public in the 1980s and 1990s is 281+123+77+89+50=$620M=.62B$
