the formula i need is Sum = Average * Number of terms
Also, remember that Number of terms = Highest - Lowest +1

1. The largest element in S is 55. Not sufficient.
2. There are 11 elements in S. Not sufficient.

Combined 1 and 2 you can see that => number of terms = Highest - Lowest + 1 => 11 = 55 - x +1 => x = 45.
so you can figure out the average => (55 + 45)/2 and multiply it times the number of terms 11 => You dont need to do the multiplication because you know it will work and you have all the details needed to asnswer it.
