The correct answer is E
First lets nick the obvious- S2, doesn't give us anything that could conclusively answer the question.
S1 says that- The greatest number of roses that can be purchased with $30 is 24.
Possibility 1- The (naïve guess) if $30 for 24 roses then in $15 we get 12 roses. so in $45 maximum roses we can get equals to 36 roses.
Possibility 2- The (805+ level guess) it says the greatest number of roses, what if in $30 we get 24.8 roses (that is if roses are $0.825 per piece), then in $30 we get maximum of 24 roses, and in $45 we can get maximum of 37 roses.

We get two different answers. Therefore S2 is not our answer

Correct answer is E
