unable to make any progress on quant. I am not able to do problems fast enough.

Some Quant video tips on the GMAT Knight blog that go through some questions. You might find them helpful to improve the way you tackle questions going forward. See if you can leverage the answer choices, for example.

Yes. I am getting questions correct if there is no timebound. But I can't do them fast enough.
Have you tried just answering the first 20 quant questions and seeing how you score? I would think that you'd score in the mid to upper 40s if you got the the first 20 correct and guessed on the rest.

In fact, with the first 20 correct and a few correct guesses on the rest, you'd likely score Q48 or higher.

Thanks MartyTargetTestPrep

Let me take some practice tests where I can try to get the first 20 problems correct.

Let me know any timing tips you may have!

Thanks,
Rucha

Hi guys,

I scored a 560 after studying for 5 months straight. I think I can work on my verbal questions but I am unable to make any progress on quant. I am not able to do problems fast enough. (I can solve 20 problems in 62 minutes) when we have 31 questions. Also, without a time bond I am getting all questions correct but solving within 2 min seems like a impossibility.

It would be great if anyone can help me with this! I am thinking of dropping my whole MBA aspiration if I cannot score around 650. I am studying for another month to get this result and that should help me decide what I can do with my future.

Try doing only timed practice in quant. Start by doing one question and slowly increase the number of questions that you solve in a sitting. The problem you are facing is mostly a psychological issue. You can try practicing mindfulness.
