Your verbal score is Great. Congrats. Your story seems interesting to me. Because I have the same feeling that
MGMAT SC is complex. Now I am going through Aristotle SC Grails which seems good for the basics. Now that I read your post, I am inclined to buy Powerscore SC (I love Powerscore CR book). And as all the other students, I have't used my first class office hours, Now I will use it from this week.
Thanks for your valuable points.Good Luck for the next attempt.
PowerScore SC is a great resource to learn the fundamentals. I found
MGMAT SC jumps around too much and I was often confused once I finished reading the chapter. Another bonus is that PowerScore SC has GMAT-like questions at the end rather than "drills".
I'm now going through Aristotle and my notes with the occasional glance at
MGMAT SC.
Don't forgot that you also get GMATWrite 1 for free from
MGMAT. I used that the day before my GMAT to see where my AWA was.. scored a 5 (argument) and 4 (issue). Just gave me satisfaction that I'm in the right range. I ended up with 5.5 in the end anyway.
