Berkeley Haas v NYU Stern

Question

International applicant here.. I have got acceptances from both Haas and Stern. Post-MBA I would like to do finance (VC etc, not banking). I am indifferent on the NY or SF debate (way of life etc), although more inclined towards SF solely from a financial perspective (I guess SF would be cheaper).

SF is very expensive!, and Berkeley is prob better for VC, considering that most VC's are in that area. But breaking into VC is going to be hard at either

Ignoring the difficulty of landing a VC job, I'd have to agree that Haas is a great choice for the proximity to so many VC firms. Haas also places a strong emphasis on innovation and fosters an entrepreneurial community. Although San Francisco is probably just as expensive as NYC, Berkeley is cheaper than both.
