If you include both the Delhi and Mumbai Hubs, the total number of interview slots is around 48. Considering that Wharton has over 70/80 Indians in each batch, this number seems to be a bit on the lower side. Are there candidates opting for a phone interview as well?
Does Wharton only conduct hub interview via Adcoms for Indian candidates or do they also have Alumni interviews ? Does anyone have more colour on this?

Apparently this year they are not using alumni at all. All interviews at hubs are conducted by adcom members and on-campus by 2nd year students.

Are you sure that's the correct number?? 70/80?? I think acceptance for international students would be higher if its that number, which doesn't make sense..
I have registered for a HUB interview through the portal. I also received an email confirming the same. Under my events, it says "Interview date" and then "RSVP by". Do I need to contact the adcom or is this it? What is this RSVP meant for?
Thanks...
I too was wondering the same thing. I feel it is just some generic field that appears for all events.
I am more worried about whether they will change the interview pattern once again. Am little sceptical whether the "6" behavioral questions from last time will spill over to this year as well.

Apparently all Indian slots are full (based on azmodeus' reply somewhere). Does anyone else know the reply to our confusion??

Yeah, that number does seem high. Besides, number of Indian candidates interviewed is not the same as number of candidates interviewed in India. There are several Indian citizens applying from the States and around the world...
Businessweek has put up a region-wise split of the current MBA batch at Wharton. As per this data, 16 percent of the current batch is from Asia (I'm not sure if that means Asian origin). That is approximately 130+ students from Asia. And if I'm not mistaken, over half the Asian students tend to be from India. Not sure if this has any bearing on the interviews - just idle speculation at this stage.
More idle speculation... So people who have received interviews already have said that interview slots for Philly are only open until November 11th. Nov. 11 also happens to be the last day to hear back about interview invites. Does this mean bad news for candidates who live closest to Philly compared to all of the interview cities offered if you haven't already gotten an invite? Wow this wait really is brutal.

More speculation on top of your speculation, but they said that interviews will extend into the very beginning of December. With that, I imagine that they will open up more slots as they send out more interview invites. Reason being; if they opened all slots now many people with early invites would pick the latest dates and they would fill before some people would even receive their invites. This could end with people who received their invites later not having any slots to choose from.

This is exactly what HBS does logistically so I don't see why Wharton wouldn't do the same thing. Pretty sure they'll open more slots up after 11/11/.
Any invites or online status changes reported today?
The staggered invite schedule makes sense at least in Wharton's case... The Round 1 confirmation email said "you must complete your interview by December 2nd" so I'm sure they'll open up more slots as they send out more invites...
I haven't seen any estimates on how many they might have sent out in the past 2 waves (Thursday and yesterday)... but that's probably because NOBODY KNOWS!
Hey guys - figured I'd say hi. I'm a reapplicant playing the waiting game as well... (gah)
Quick ques. for those people who will be interviewing on campus who received an invite yesterday - were there slots open after 11/11? if so, how late? Thanks!

Nope, 11/11 was the latest. I'm sure they will open up slots for the following week later. As people have said, it's to ensure there are slots for those who get their invites at the end.
does anyone know the policy for releasing invites? are they sending them out on a rolling basis or can I wait for an invite any day during this timeframe? or is it like HBS where they only release invites on wednesdays until the last wednesday where everyone hears something wether it is a release, invite or waitlist?
