it's funny how people autosuggest themselves
in life there are winners and losers,
losers use a lot of words while winners get admitted.
that's it

I hope bschool isn't full of people with this viewpoint.

Haha seriously. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Clearly, we all think that B-school is the best way or we wouldn't be applying, but it's not like everyone who doesn't get into Wharton just lives in the gutter for the rest of their lives.

Plus wtf does "autosuggest" even mean?

hahahaha good joke... because Warren Buffet, Bill gates and Mark Zuckerberg are clearly loosers who were denied to a top business school. My brother worked at a bank and he constantly interacted with top mba graduates (we are talking HBS, W and S profiles) and he remembers how many of them were just let go because of bad decisions, lack of creativity and low skill overall, specially the arrogance with which they treated subordinates.

So yea.. big winners they were. Keep telling yourself that only because you have an 800 gmat and a 4.0 gpa and get admitted to a top school you own the world.. the joke is on you. An mba is a good step stone for a higher position or sharing great experiences with some other talented individuals, but never the winner or looser factor in life. I have lots of ideas and wether I am admitted or not to bschool I will certainly do something about these ideas in life.

I am sorry to jinx you but I hope you are denied... people like you bring down economies while playing golf and being douche bags.

Just to confirm: when the last of the decisions are released today will they confirm Dings or only send notifications to those who are invited to interview? I'd like to think I would receive an e-mail either way to bring some closure to the wait. Anyone know how this is handled?

You will know one way or the other by the end of day. Good luck!

The two posts are very similar in their immaturity. Just as it's uncool to call people don't get into top bschools losers, it's uncool to jinx anyone, even in anger, even if someone said something foolish.

I hope both of you get in.

Cue, "Why Can't We Be Friends." Tensions running high on ding day.

In regard to someone's question a few minutes ago, I think that we will receive dings or invites, but either way you will know. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Not to flame this conversation further or anything. But I think most Wharton applicants are a product of self-selection, and this is reflected in a chat I had with the admission staff at an event where she said basically 80% of the dinged candidates are absolutely admissible, but sometimes it just has to do with the entire class makeup (diversity, backgrounds, industries, etc).

I hope everyone gets in the school that they want, whether it's Wharton or not. Good luck! :)

Hhaha I had the day off and couldn't take the waiting (and repeated Ctrl+F5) and went to have fish tacos with my friend. :)
