Hi,

I have been a long time lurker of the GMATClub. I have recently been accepted into Chicago Booth MBA this autumn. I want to start a blog to help out fellow MBA applicants on their applications. I will also try to make witty post about the MBA life. Please let me know what you think. I'm always looking for good feedback.

Thanks. Congrats on getting into Booth. What difficulties did you come across when applying. Which schools did you apply to. Who interviewed you and where did you get dinged. What was your gmat and work experience. Post along these lines would be interesting. If you don't mind sharing this info.

Thats a first dinged before applying. At least you got an interview in the end. Will be interesting to read how you went through the process.

great blog idea!! I'm looking to applying to chicago this year and I hope your blog helps me out!! How did you get over the fact that you had basically 0 extra curricular activities? This is one aspect that I am having trouble dealing with and explaining.

Nice blog you have there! I'm applying to Booth this year, I'll definitely stop by your blog every so often. Kind of expanding from Azhangie's question: if my extracurriculars are primarily individual pursuits into activities like making chainmail and dune bashing, how should I go about portraying this in a favorable manner? Or should I find a local chainmail chapter? :)

Thanks starch, I'll be following your blog as Booth is also one of the schools I want to apply to.

I'm an engineer by major, but not by work experience and have a sub 3.0 gpa, would you suggest taking a couple classes at an extension school, or is it not helpful due to our quantitative background.
