I just had a few quick questions regarding the interview process for the top tier business schools. I know that it varies by school and even probably by year but I'm trying to understand the whole accepted/denied/interviewing process. Do some people get accepted without interviewing or is the process the standard "Apply > Interview > Accepted"? Is there any rough % for the number of people that get an offer to interview? What about the % of people that get accepted/rejected after an interview?
Thanks and if there is anything else I should know I would appreciate it!
Hey,
I personally don't know of any top tier MBA program that accepts applicants w/o an interview.
You can look at the numbers at websites such as businessweek.
Go to Management ---> Business Schools --> Rankings and Profiles --> Full Time MBA.
There are other websites as well that mention % of applicants who were invited to an interview.
