Hi All,
I've graduated with an MBA (Marketing) from India in 2007.
My predicament arises from the fact that my B school doesn't belong to the Ivy league (IIMs, MDIs et. al).
I am a management consultant by profession. and have 2.5 yrs of work ex. I believe that I need an international degree esp and MBA to grow faster in my profession. I am planning to give the GMAT in March,2012.
What I am not sure of is that how the B-schools treat an applicant who already has an MBA. I am expecting answers on the lines that one needs to convince the Bschool as to how the second (international) MBA will help him and all.
But what I am looking forward to is suggestions from members who have faced this themselves..

Having an MBA before going for another MBA is not an impediment usually. I have come across many cases where people who had an MBA (from a Tier 2 institution and in one case even from a Tier 1 institution) went for another degree from a Tier 1 institution.

I'm very interested in the above post... how can you convince an admissions committee that your "tier 1" mba isn't enough so now you need to get the same exact professional designation, MBA, from their "tier 1" program. I don't see it personally but perhaps I'm blind
