I got admitted to Darden Executive MBA and Georgetown Evening MBA in R1 for Fall 2012. Now, I am in dilemma where to go. Please help me decide!!
My background is in wireless telecommunication (10+ years including 4+ years in management) and want to go into technology strategy / management consulting in the short term, technology based enterpreneurship in the long term. Live in northern VA so commute is not a big differentiator. Which one has better ROI in 5 year term?

Darden EMBA. You can't go wrong with both programs but I am quite sure that the Darden tight-knit alumni network is something that will serve you well in the years to come. The Darden faculty's commitment to teaching is also renowned. It's gonna be an experience of a lifetime!

I know that you probably made a decision at this point. However, the reputation of Darden trumps Georgetown. Also your work experience appears to fit the Executive MBA profile a bit more nicely than for a general full or part time MBA.

I got WL'ed in R1 for G-Town, so I'm currently waiting out R2 before ultimately deciding between Maryland and GWU. I'm sure that whatever decision you make will work out for the best!

Thanks novanative. Darden does have lot of value adds such as tight knit alumni community, good reputation, flexible format and pure case study school which helps in general management, consulting world. I am leaning towards Darden as well although MSB is a very good school. Good luck with MSB and RS (Maryland).
