Hey all,
I have been studying the last few months and took my first GMAT practice CAT with
manhattan GMAT...610. I'm crushed to say the least. I get almost every question right when I'm studying, and my biggest problem during the exam was without a doubt SPEED - I found myself almost out of time at only the halfway point during the quant section.
I'm aiming for a minimum of a 720. I have the luxury of time, as I'm planning to apply next fall.
I don't really consider myself an underachiever of a "bad test-taker" per se - I'm a physician and just finished my fellowship, so test-taking under pressure is nothing new. I've scored over 90th percentile on every standardized exam I've ever taken, but I'm incredibly discouraged by this score.
Advice? I've seen some of the resources for practice exams here. What have you guys found to be the best strategies to improve your speed?
Thanks.
