Hi All,

These types of arithmetic questions can be re-written in a number of different "formats", so knowing how to properly deal with each format should provide you an advantage (just rewrite the calculation in whatever form is easiest/fastest for YOU to work with).

We're given 92% of 3/4

We can rewrite this in any of the following ways:

(.92)(.75)

(92/100)(3/4)

(92)(1/4)(3)(1/100)

By recognizing that 92% of 3/4 is LESS than 3/4 you can eliminate 2 of the wrong answers.
By recognizing that 92 is evenly divisible by 4, you can eliminate the other 2 wrong answers.

My approach for the solution is shown below:
If we want to know the percentage of number we should multiply that number with the percentage then deviding it by 100.
So, (92*3/4)/100=69/100=0.69
