Adding on Bhatia's post I would suggest the following approach:
After finishing the Kaplan book tackle the OG questions (skip the review content as it barely touches the surface of what you actually need to know). Keep a simple
error log in excel to come back to the OG questions you got wrong on a later stage (3 columns: question number, your answer, official answer)
Do the
MGMAT books while focusing on the areas you feel weak in.
MGMAT SC was not very helpful in my case although many people swear by it; you be the judge.
Take a
MGMAT CAT (or Kaplan CAT) and pinpoint your areas of improvement (you have a pool of 12 when combining both books)
Buy
magoosh and review the lessons where you feel you need to focus on.
Do the full practice questions on
magoosh - more than 500Q.
Go back to your OG
error log and cover the ones you did poorly on your first try.
Now download the GMAT Prep SW and do a practice test.
Review areas of weakness and create plan to address them.
This is the method I am following to prepare for my exam (30dec) for the third damn time [CRYING FACE].
Cheers
