I am able to correctly do most of the questions that I do incorrectly in the Mock tests in VA (SC and CR) when I review my mock test. I enrolled and finished for E-gmat's SC and CR course. I think doing more theory wouldn't work. I have done so many mocks now. Not sure what to do. My average VA is 34. Please help.
Time pressure and stress often do not let us perform to our potential. If you know what you have to do, it's great but you should do it in lesser time. To build speed in Verbal, effective use of suitable strategies and practice will help.
When I talk about strategies, what I mean is this: our CR book discusses the advantages of reading the question stem first. Once you get used to it, the moment you would see a CR question, you would pounce on the question stem and figure out the type of question. Then you will actively cruise through the argument looking for relevant info. By the time you are done, you are already forming an acceptable answer in your mind. These little things save a lot of time and give you a lot of confidence.
