Just got the call, I am in and very excited.

I was waitlisted last year for regular decision and re-applied this year for early decision. I went to NYC (from San Diego) to visit the school as well as went to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual meeting and Columbia Dinner. Very long road but I am obviously very happy with the outcome. Other stats and timeline:

I would give it at least until the end of the week, especially since Sep 6 was Saturday and the backlog might be getting a big longer as we get closer to the ED deadline.

I submitted Sep 10 and haven't heard anything yet. I'll definitely be very antsy for the next couple of days.

How long did j term applicants have to wait to hear the final decision after the interview?
I had my interview on 09/18 and the report was submitted on 09/19. I know you must wait at least one week but everyone on this forum got a call in 1-2 business days. Can't stop freaking out.
Also, do they call international students too? Or do they just send an e-mail?

I got the call 13 very long days after my interview report was submitted! And yes, they do call international students.

I am applying for the J-Term myself.

My understanding is that if you don't plan to change careers, the J-Term makes more sense than the regular term - the extra year you'd spend studying if you entered in August presents a substantial opportunity cost. However, if you do intend to change areas, then you probably need an internship in your new field to make this transition.

Since I plan to stay in the same field, it was an easy decision for me.

I got the call 13 very long days after my interview report was submitted! And yes, they do call international students.

It took almost two weeks for me as well, so I wouldn't freak out too much. If you haven't heard anything then you are still in the running no matter how long it has been. I never actually did receive a call which freaked me out a little bit. I live in Germany so my assumption is that since the acceptance email came in at 2am local time they didn't bother at that point, or maybe I made a typo in my phone number, either way I made my girlfriend reread the update on the CBS website 2-3 times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. She was super pumped that I woke up her at 6am and put an ipad in her face and asked her to read something

but once she understand what was going on she was happy and then wanted to go back to bed. And just to clarify I got an email that said there had been an update to my account, not an email saying I was acccepted. I had to log onto the CBS website to find out.
