You should allocate time to each question and ensure that you stick to them. Do as many questions and tests as possible. I remember I did the complete 1000 SC questions series and till the time I was finished with it, my accuracy in SC questions increased from 60-70% to 90-95%

I follow these timelines:

1. Spend less that one minute on a sentence correction.
2. Give 2-2.5 minutes a critical reasoning question.
3. Spend ~2 minutes per RC question.

You might find it a little bit difficult to complete SC questions under one minute but as you practice more an more questions you will start noticing patterns in the SC questions that will further help you reduce the time in SC questions.

For RC questions, you should start making notes for the passage while you are reading. This would be definitely tough initially but would hep you to understand each and every line of the passage. It may be possible that you take 2-3 minutes extra on the entire passage as a whole but this strategy would definitely help you improve your concentration level while reading passages and overall improve your accuracy level.
