Issue Task
As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
Thesis
Societees dependency on technology will diminish the ability to think creatively about everyday things. On the long-term, the only creative people who exist in the societees are scientists who are working on improving the efficiency of technology.
Before the world wide web springs into human existence, we are doing many activities in analog fashion. For example, the way we read news nowadays is just a button click away from our Smartphones. Before internet and applications, reading the news means we have to come out from our home to pick up the mail, this fact deteriorate our physical movement. Also we are less exposed into the refreshing outdoor and interaction with neihbors. Ultimately, there are more chances of people infected by diseases from a lack of physical activities.
Moreoever, the richness of digital tools limit ourselves to think about a problem solutions. It is not unheard of nowadays that there are more and more DJs that come into the music scene. While a flow of new artist is advantageous for the industry, the way that they are constructing their music is a lack of conventional wisdom. In this modern era, Djs are well equip of digital equipments. These equipment could automatically change the BPS into one song(beat per seconds) and merge them into another song. This was unheard of in the vynil DJs era, where Djs develop their sense of hearing and mind creativity to mix two songs to be an Euphony unit.
The new tech era today limit societees to be as creative as they once were. People today demands more and more automation in their everyday life to limit themselves from ‘extra work’. The downside are, people are directed into spending more money into a technology which they don’t even need, and in the long-term, only the inventors would become creative and have imagination to provide solution for tomorrow. All others would be a consumer who wait for the latest gadget.
New technology has been historically a pinnacle of human existence, and by extension a better living for mankind. But revolution or evolution in reality can extinct one of our god-given ability. As a result of new and more efficient technology, a lack of creative thinking and physical activities are occured. Therefore human capabilites are diminish as a results of more efficient activites.
