I think you are going to have to go pretty far down the list of rankings to find someone who will give a full scholarship to a student who received a 550 on the GMAT. Think about it, most schools will only give money to maybe the top 10 per cent of their class. So even schools that have an average GMAT around 550, their will still be plenty of students applying there who have scored 650 or better. My recommendation would be to work on your GMAT score. If you can bump it up into the 600s you will have way more flexibility.
